NVQs in Management
Level
4 in Management is for a practising middle managers with responsibility
for:-
• allocating work to others
• achieving specific results by using resources effectively
• carrying out policy in his/her area of responsibility
• controlling limited financial budgets, and contributing to broader activities,
such as change programmes and recruitment
Level 5 in Management is for a senior manager who:-
• has operational responsibility for substantial programmes and resources
• has a broad span of control
• pro-actively identifies and implements change and quality improvements
• negotiates budgets and contracts, and
• leads high level meetings
